Facilities

New England Girls' School Equestrian Centre offers both indoor and outdoor riding facilities.

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced rider the Equestrian Centre has much to offer everyone. Staffed by qualified coaches and experienced riding professionals, students are able to participate in a number of riding disciplines.

The facilities include a floodlit indoor arena (60m x 25m), an outdoor arena (30m x 60m), a massive outdoor jumping arena (200m squared), stable complex, day yards, a cross-country course and a 'horse rail' agistment area. Students also have the opportunity to explore over fifty acres of well maintained free-riding area.

Paddocks are private in a 'horse rail' paddock, or shared in post and rail paddock, cost changes accordingly.
The Zita Denholm Building houses the office, tack rooms, change rooms, staff kitchen and laundry.

The cross-country complex is currently being redesigned by Wayne Copping (Australian Course Designer) and will have courses from Introductory to 2*. Among the many features of the course are the water complex and many portable fences to allow for change of course from one competition to the next.

The jump arena is currently the parents oval, which does allow for two full courses. Twighlight Jumping is held here Wednesday evenings during term time. External riders are welcome.
