It’s an exciting time to be riding at NEGS. The NEGS Equestrian Centre (established 1972) offers unparalleled riding opportunities. NEGS Equestrian is an open equestrian center, so the public are very welcome to come and share in the enjoyment of using our facilities and horses.

Lessons are available as private or group and can be on your own horse or using one of our experienced school horses. There are twenty school horses ranging from beginners ponies and horses to medium/advanced dressage horses and horses jumping up to 1.2m.
Staffed by quality instructors, the Equestrian Centre can cater for specialist interests. There are opportunities to learn to ride in dressage, show jumping, sporting, eventing and vaulting. Riders are able to and are encouraged to attend competitions on either their own horse or one of our school horses. At many of these competitions the riders have the privilege of one or more of our experienced instructors attending and assisting them for the duration of the competition.

Sarah Venamore and Gina Haddad are both NCAS EA Level 2 Coaches and Coach Educators and are available for lessons Monday through to Friday. Our other instructors are Siobhan Fisher, Virgina Little, Skye Berry and Mel Lawson who are available for lessons on the weekends, Siobhan, Skye and Mel are also available during the week for lessons.

The NEGS facilities allow for training and assessing of EA, TAFE and Horse Riding Coach candidates.

We currently have running equi- skills lessons, available for school children and adults. This is the horsemanship and riding section of the EA Introductory coach.
