We now have a new Indoor arena surface! The surface is a combination of polyester and sand and is used by world renowned showjumpers, eventers and dressage riders overseas. It is state of the art and provides a light and even surface for your horse to work on. Please be aware that any organic material e.g. manure will destroy the unique compound of this new surface. When riding in the arena please pick up manure as soon as it is deposited. We recognise this it will be a hassle but for the integrity of the surface we urge you to be part of the equine team and do your bit. Please note if you are not abiding to these new rules it will result in a ban from riding in the indoor. |

A huge thanks to SUPERMOTO for the generous deal to provide the Equestrian Center with the much needed Quad Bike! All the staff are ecstatic that they will no longer have to trawl up and down the hill to feed horses. In order to provide the most efficient, safe
and productive work for our staff this quad bike will be a very valuable
tool for feeding and caring for your horses. It will enable staff to
effectively run the stables and yard with minimal strain and maximum
efficiency. Cleaning 30 paddocks by hand weekly is a huge job and with
the assistance of this quad bike to pull the "Poo Vac" it would greatly
increase productivity. |

On Saturday the 28th of November we held the Christmas party for the weekend riders. The day was enjoyed by all and a great way to end the year for the weekend riders! Thanks to everyone :)

The Sam Lyle Clinic was run on the 21st and 22nd at NEGS and except for the extreme heat the clinic was a great weekend. Sam will be returning on February next year, check the Clinics page for more details. |

5 NEGS School horses went to the Armidale Dressage Festival on the weekend. Rosie Russel rode Topi and Megan Bourke rode Arlee at the Festival. Snow and Zulu were ridden by NEGS Instructor, Siobhan Fisher and Roanie was Ridden by NEGS Centre Manger and Chief Instructor, Sarah Venamore. Thanks to our Grooms for the day, Bek Cameron, Lauren Chaney, Brooke Goodwin and Mel Lawson. Everyone did extremely well in their tests with Rosie and Megan both scoring high in the Offical Preliminary tests, Megan was 8th overall in the . NEGS School horses Snow placed 3rd in the Novice 2A and Zulu placing 2nd in the Novice 2A and 3rd in Elementary 3A tests. What are great result for our NEGS School horses!

6 NEGS ponies and staff went to the camping and outdoors weekend at the showgrounds to provide pony rides for the public. It was a fantastic weekend and the ponies were all very well behaved.

Our Melbourne Cup Fundraiser was held yesterday at the Armidale race
course. The day ran very smoothly and fun was had by all. The winners
of the Miniature Race were Bek Cameron and Moxons Petey Pie and the
