Scholarships

Scholarships are offered to talented riders from around the country who come to school at NEGS. Any child that receives a scholarship receives a reduction in school fees.


First round for 2011 scholarship applications closes on the 12th February for 2010.


Round 2 is on the 27th March 2010


If you are en elite rider and competitive in your field of riding you are encouraged to apply for a scholarship.

In order to apply you will need to send the follow to 'Enrolments' NEGS Uralla Rd Armidale, NSW 2350, no later then the 12th February 2010:

  • Send in the Entry Form (please follow the link)
  • List of achievements in Equestrian (any discipline) those from State or National level are preferable
  • DVD of themselves riding at their level preferably at a competition. If that is not possible, then send footage of the rider showing their capabilities at their own sport. DVD is to be no longer than 5 mins.

                                State and/or  National Dressage results

                                State and/or National Eventing  results

        State and/or National  Polo results
        State and/or National  Polocrosse results
        State and/or  National Pony Club competition results

        State and/or  National Show Jumping results

                                State and/or National  Sporting results
                                State and/or National Stock Horse results
                                State and/or  National Vaulting results

Successful applicants in Round One will be notified approx one month before Round Two. Round 2 is on the 27th March 2010 at NEGS Uralla Rd Armidale. For Round Two the applicants will be required to come to NEGS to have an interview with the Principal, sit a literacy, numeracy and equestrian exam as well as participate in a ridden practical test on a NEGS horse.
