Work Experience is readily offered at NEGS, whether you are a school or uni student there are opportunities to gain vast experience in working with horses.

The work experience offered at NEGS can begin from one day a week for a defined period of time or full weeks at a time. Accommodation is available on site in a boarding house within walking distance from the equestrian center and is either self catered or you can choose to eat with the school during term time. One weeks boarding including food is $180 or self catered is $120. Work hours vary from 6:30 in the morning to 7pm at night. Some of our work experience students stay on and work for riding lessons or some may even become valuable members of our staff.


Some of the work you can expect to experience while here at NEGS Equestrian Centre:

• Mucking stables and cleaning paddocks
  
• Feeding and caring for school and private horses
• Grooming and tacking up horses for work
• Cleaning tack and upkeep of facilities
• Assisting with riding lessons
  

There is also an opportunity to ride during your work experience, however permission from your parent or guardian is required.
